Now heres a good soundtrack from Bollywood in a real long time.Its called Rock On! Cool stuff. I just heard the sound track and i must say, pretty good huh. Total rock is what i would say. Shankar Ehsaan loy trio has used a lot of influences from the 1990s rock bands/groups. Very Def Lepard, Very Aerosmith and traces of Mettalica and by this i mean the ‘mood’ and ‘sound’ not the riffs and strumming. The sound track is pretty original and true to rock.
Don’t expect mushy love ballads and swear words, this is plain pure hindi rock album which can stand alone as a music CD too. I have never been dissappointed with Shankar Ehsaan loy and i believe they are one of the best music directors we ever had. And this sound track just adds to the judgement.
