The Heman Project : A Note on Trance production

by wiredbeats on August 25, 2008

I made this track for my good friend who would be getting married soon. Incidentally, this track also happens to be one of my best productions till date. I played this production several times in my home theater and found the thump just right to set your feet on dance mode.

Originally i had made this track for about 3:50, the typical duration for a dance track with lot of riffs and synths. The longer productions are usually with a mid-slot thats monotonous for a good 1:50 and then variations are layered like a sandwich and later taken off one by one. That way you go up and then come down and one hi-hat and end!

This one on the contrary sustains the pace for a good 7:00 mins. The base is the same all through, i have not introduced any breaks here. Instead i used a synth loop that runs for almost the duration of the track and there are organs and guitar riffs here and there.Damn neat!

Overall a motherload of trance! Hope you like it
