Hmm, this is new! The other day i used my keyboards in the its real form, as an instrument rather than an audio device. Some thought prompted me to try a single take recording with a arpeggio on 12 string guitar ported as MIDI into my Digitial Audio Workstation as a single string arpeggio. Basically, convert what is being played by 12 strings into a single string playback. And boy o boy, this one turned out to be sheer magic.
What you get is an awesome sounding variations in a single take. It was obvious that i now mix beats and hi-hats to it and serve hot. So presenting my latest presentation – A Tale of Two Strings.
