Zimbabwe has an inflation of 11.2 Million Percent…now eat this..

The 50 Billion Dollar NoteThis is some scary scene. A country ridden with war and famine, with foreign aid banned now pays 30 million dollars of its currency to buy 1 American Dollar. Zimbabwe has recorded an inflation rate of 11.2 Million Percent. No, this is no joke.

A loaf of bread costs $1000 US Dollars and two sheet of toilet paper costs $450 US Dollars, not even role . Zimbabwe has recently printed a $1 Billion Dollar currency note. This country with an unemployment rate of 80% is brain dead for all practical reasons. Government workers had to be given a raise of 30 million dollars, while chickens are sold at 1 million dollars (Zimbabwe ofcourse). 3 people pay a rent of 1 million zimbabwe dollars…funeral cost..6 million dollars!

Still, somehow whatever happens in US captures our imagination. I am not sure for whom should we be spending our ‘worry time’ for. US is paying the price for being greedy and fate would correct the situation.
