Update : I had received many feed backs that the earlier mix although good did not have the ‘X-factor’. The beats were not heavy and some of you said the aggression was lacking big time. I have reworked portions of the mix again and present you this new and improved version. The earlier version clocked about 200 downloads.If you have the older version, dump it and take this. Cuz it certainly has more juice!
In the year 2004, Mani Ratnam made a film on the impact youth can have on everyday governance. Yuva – the film had a novel idea and a unique style of narration. Accompanied by the awesome score by AR Rahman (now a twin academy award winning composer), the movie did live up to the idea, if not the expectation. The title track of the movie was quite ‘anthemish’ which in my opinion had an early death.
I happen to watch the movie few days ago and thought that the title had so much energy to give out that we could use a second playback. Unable to resist the temptation I attempted a remix of the track with thump and other spices to sort of ‘re-energize’ the sentiment behind the amazing track.
So here I present my latest ‘Oh Yuva – The Re-energizer Edition’. Hope you like it!

Boy! this is my remedy for beating the NY traffic during rush hour man. I have known you since the early days of rahman's fan group and you are one master craftman of his music. Like someone said in your website you keep the original alive and add to it in a very cool way. Now i like the original even more and your mix…well thats for my car and to pump me up whenever i need to. Brilliant man. As usual.
