1998 saw an amazing track that did not deserve an early death. The track was from a movie called Kabhi Na Kabhi composed by AR Rahman during his early days in the Hindi filmdom. The awesome song “ Mere Saari Subah” sung by the nightingale Chitra and M Sreekumar had a ambient feel with a superb groove and carnatic rhythm. Chitra being a superb singer that she is hits very high notes with ease while the low notes are well taken care of the melodious Sreekumar.
This is an amazingly romantic track that has a pace and restlessness of it own. I happened to play this track by accident after some 3 years and it just blew my mind. This track was way ahead of its time.
I thought it was time to resurface this track with elements that we have accumulated since the last 11 years.

hmm this is ordinary stuff coming from your end boss. i dont see " your touch" in this. just a beat here and beat there and you dished it out . its good i am not saying no, but it does not have the perfection that you normally bring in.any remix artist can make a mix like this man but what you do is typically change the rhythm but maintain the feel. this mix is all dink chak dink chak stuff….man plz c'mon !!! do something like the O Yuva mix again or the lagaan mix.. those are class acts…

you are absolutely right . this song was way ahead of its time . its a super rhythmic song by A R RAHMAN. ive always listened it. the song has a high tempo ,intensive but sweet sitar interlude which could take your breathe away . i found a menace in the song you said it right it has a restlessness .
i also wanted to tell you that the structure of the song was completely copied by many music directors. do listen "manase" from movie nenjinile music by deva , singers unnikrishnan and chitra. the song structure is 100% same. the song is completely inspired, the early alaap , the rhythm beats, the sitar interlude and overall feel of the song is the same . but its also a good song .do listen it carefully and then reply me.ok its goodbye have nice day .
