Someone told me that if you really want to make a remix for the club, think like a DJ, feel like a DJ and listen like a ‘Good DJ’. The trouble is i am not of it. I am no DJ and i can’t do turntables to save my life. However, since i know a thing or two about remixing/production i did attempt a ‘DJ kind of remix’ to the latest delivery from A R Rahman. Chiggy Wiggy. I think it it a cute track and the transition to Bhangra from Kylie’s act is seamless, something that only Rahman can pull off. But to be honest, i don’t like the Sonu Nigam portion that much. I think the ‘Classy’ part of the song is gone the moment Bhangra comes in. Not to say Bhangra is not classy, it is!
Anyways, here is it my interpretation of how a Club music DJ would attempt remixing Chiggy Wiggy. I call it ‘The Club Banger’s Mix’. Hope you like it. And please don’t judge me based on this track, theres lots more to explore here. I just did this mix for fun.
