Wired BeatsThis year AR has given some cool tracks, along with 2 Academy awards and few more to count. I just thought it would be cool to sort of make a  mix set apt for the holiday season. So here you go, a non-stop dance mix with all the hits that Rahman gave us over the last year.Featuring commercially available remixes, my own mixes and some peppy addons :) Just note that i am not a DJ, i just stiched the tracks together for your dancing pleasure!

Dear Wiredbeats

You are a good "COOK" as you do know how to mix and match your ingredients to
dish out a good remix. ARR's songs are basically complicated due to their
multilayered design so remixing them to keep the flow and the sound clarity
intact is a difficult task indeed.

I am still fan of your Swades and Lagaan mix.

I remember long long long long time back Wassim-Kaissom also had showcased his
talent with good and tasty remixes. I am happy that you are continuing with your
presentation.

Continue the good work !

Hi Wiredbeats,

Good job man..but I wouldnt still call it as one of your best jobs till date. May be you could have kept the length short for each song and put more songs in there…but again, thats only my opinion. On the whole, my expectations from you were very high as I have always loved your work.

Surely, I await for more from you..keep up the good work!

Regards,
Ashok Singh Purohit

Yes.. I have exactly the same thoughts of Ashok..

Come up with a complete reworked medley of Songs + BGM bits,.. You can do it! Besties… :)

And try to give them all an emotional touch even if it's a groovy kinda medley! Then people will listen to it again and again.. :)

Thanks fellas,

This non-stop mix was done in a very short time taking mixes done by me,some other versions a DJ friend gave me. It was done for this Hyd DJ who wanted to have a 'Rahman hour' during his bollywood night! I persuaded him for this Rahman hour and he asked me to make a mix in fast track model.

Now, that being the purpose i took some available mix, added some additonal masala, tadka and microwaved them and i intentionally put the entire song and did not cross fade much. I want the clubbers to 'listen to the track' as well and go back home and check the originals.

This DJ friend has already played it once and the response was awesome he says….so beta testing over!!

I am working on a Bollywood medley for a X-mass release, even that will have AR's best works.

regards

Thank you buddy! I liked your version of Gendha Phool especially…I felt that the full length songs did slowdown the remix mood at places…I was expecting a kind of twist while listening to Taxi but ended up hearing the full song :-) Nevertheless, a great job bro!!! Keep treating us like this every holiday season!

hey man that version of Ghenda phool is not mine. I just mixed it in..its by someone else..
