I think playing around with the cutest track of this year is a risk. When such a track comes from Rahman, i guess the risk is higher. This year’s cutest track is Kabhi Kabhi Aditi from the OST Jaane Tu. A solo by Rashid Ali with ultra simple arrangement by Rahman makes this track an instant ‘stick on’. Every guitar enthusiast i know is practicing the the simple guitar notes and every one who knows someone called Aditi is smiling.. at Aditi!
I thought of adding my 2 cents here with a simple mix of the superb track. I call it Kabhi Kabhi Aditi – Wiredbeat’s Early Club Edit mix Take a look

I have always liked mixes with slow vocals with a techno groove. I am still in love with the track ” Miss you – Todd Terry mix” . Rahman always makes sad tracks which are quite tough to mix! I think thats where his genius is. His ballads are usually quite difficult to upgrade in a manner that does not spoil the mood in the track. I this sad is music..the best tunes are for sad tracks.
One of the slow poisons in Rahman’s latest motion picture sound track is the title track – Jaane tu ( female version – aditi) . This is a class act quite frankly. I felt this was so ‘club ready’ for the sorta mood where you don’t have to groove…just let the rhythm sink in.
Please do lend your ears to my latest presentation – Jaane Tu – Miss you in da club mix. All you regulars of my mixes, please do leave your comments here. I think i attempted something different!!

Saturday Night Hangover is something I programmed/mixed using free samples available. This track is really cool in its feel. It is not a track for the ?let your hair down and dance?. Its a feel good track for the ?easy no rule dance?! A dash of Mexican feel with some salsa and a groovy kick beat makes this track quite interesting. Many of you have written to me on how you liked this track and how you played this in your house parties! Thank you all so much.
Check it out!
